I am a Colorado-based therapist and EMDR Consultant in Training through the Trauma Therapist Institute. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with clients of all ages across integrated healthcare, school-based, and private practice settings, and that experience shapes how I approach EMDR and clinical care.

Due to my background working in healthcare settings, I greatly value treating the whole person and considering the link between mental, physical, and emotional health. Cultural responsiveness is also central to my work. I lived in Guatemala for several years and am bilingual in English and Spanish, which has provided me with an experience working with immigrants and across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I also hold specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I have witnessed EMDR’s potential to help folks overcome difficult past events and current challenges and I appreciate how it has uniquely served the many diverse clients I have served over the years.

I work from an attachment-focused lens and draw on tools from multiple modalities in my EMDR work, particularly in the preparation phase. I believe in meeting clients where they are and moving at their own pace to support their healing process.

That same philosophy guides my approach to consultation. As a Consultant in Training, I'm invested in your growth. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough to learn and develop as an EMDR therapist, based in the strengths you already have and meeting you where you are at in your learning process. At the same time, I also encourage critical-thinking skills and career-long professional development.
